Dart, a longtime supplier of blocks and heads for everything from fast street rides all the way up to the highest levels of motorsports competition, has a lot going on as we kick off 2009. Here are a few highlights:
Dart PRI Exhibit
Dart was on hand at this year’s PRI show displaying their ‘Dart for the Street’ and ‘Dart Race’ concepts. For the street, their new SHP Block program was a popular topic for many that visited the booth. As for the race end of things, Dart was showing off several new cylinder head designs and new billet block configurations that Dart claims delives the highest levels of power and reliability to racers and engine builders.

Once dominated by a few key players, the aftermarket online market has been a growing and shows no sign of slowing down. Now Dart has announced that in addition to their products now being offered by their existing dealer network,
Keystone Automotive, one of the nation’s largest part suppliers to jobbers and shops, will now offer many of Dart’s products. Dart also told us that they have brokered an agreement with legendary online retailer
Amazon.com to offer their products on Amazon early this year. They will be offering most of Dart's products at retail pricing. So don’t blow that gift card you got for Amazon on DVDs or something for your mom just yet, if you’ve still got it - you may need to save it for completing that project you have been thinking about all winter.
