Ford Begins Releasing Renderings of 2010 Mustang
The Mustang was America’s first muscle car. Now 45 years later we are coming up on another major design change. Sense the S197 redesign the retro theme has dominated the design. Now Ford has taken that and shoved in as much technology as they could fit. They have also have started to release pictures of the actual 2010 Mustang.

The only catch it that they are chopped pictures of the car from different angles. More on this later. According to Mustang 5.0, Mustang chief designer Douglas Gaffka “The new Mustang will be a distinct presence on the road,” said Gaffka. “Everything flows from the shark-nose front; it sets up the direction and tension of all the surfaces. It’s even more aggressive than before- it’s a modern interpretation of the strong Mustang lineage.”

Hinting from the picture of the nose of the car, you can see what look to be HID or LED lights, which if so is new to Mustangs. Now I could go on and on about how the car was designed and what fancy words the designer used to describe the hood of the car but I think you would rather just see the car. Well remember they are just leaking out pictures like this:

Now because they are all of the same car and the magic of Photoshop I got this picture.

It’s a little rough around the edges and I didn’t even try to blend it, but you get the point.

Now with every week Ford lets out a new picture I’ll be adding it to my Frankenstein Mustang picture to try and help us all get a glimpse into the future of the Mustang.

Here is the other picture that Ford released from their site.

The hood line looks only slightly tweaked but the car looks much slimmer and much more streamlined.
