75-80 Dragway may just have one of the fastest growing outlaw programs in the east coast. It is evident by checking out one of their Saturday night shows that have become a weekly happening. They have been graced with some awesome heads-up action, since reopening the gates to the oldest track in Maryland earlier this year. This past Saturday the track was graced with their normal program along with funny cars wowing the crowd.

Dave Tolley has raced the famed track for many years as a bracket racer behind the wheel of his Ford Falcon. Several years ago though, the go-fast bug bit Tolley and he jumped into the Outlaw 10.5 ranks with a
Procharged small block Ford in a SN-95 Mustang body. Its sleek body lines with flowing silver and blue flames make it a fan favorite, but with the crack of the throttle the undeniable roar of the supercharger comes to life. Hitting mostly eighth mile events, Tolley is consistently in the 4-second range and in recent weeks he has turned up the heat on the competition.
Four in a row is a feat in any sport, especially in drag racing. That is exactly what Dave Tolley accomplished Saturday night as he closed out the evening with yet another win. Tim Essick showed up with the intentions of taking out the competition and ran a new track record of 4.78 but it would not be enough to hold Tolley off. Dave took out the ever fierce James Houston on his way to the finals. Tolley would run yet another consistent 4.90 on his way to the win to make four in a row. Congratulations to Dave on his wins and if you are in the area be sure to stop by and check out the action.
