The Carroll Shelby Engine Company recently announced that they will soon be making their engine services available to the public. The Carroll Shelby Engine Company, founded in 1988, was started by Shelby for the sole purpose of building advanced Ford V8s for his cars. For the first time, Ford owners will be able to utilize the Shelby Engine Company's expertise and have it applied to their own engines.

Carroll Shelby Engine Company will be offering rebuilding and tuning services for Ford V8 motors.

"We've been making vehicles with Ford engines go faster since 1962," said Shelby. "That includes street cars and vehicles used in every kind of motorsport. For the first time, Shelby Engines will take all of that accumulated knowledge and put it to work for individual Ford owners who want to move to the front of the pack."
Their expertise lies in a history of working with the Ford 351 Windsor small block and the Ford “FE” big block V8 engines. The company headquarters, located in Gardena, CA, will be taking in a limited number of customers. To be clear, Shelby will only be taking in motors, not entire cars.
Every engine rebuilt by the company will be granted an official “Rebuilt by Carroll Shelby Engine Company” plaque, which can be placed in the engine bay. Customers looking to tune their cars will be given an official certification sheet signed by Carroll Shelby, verifying their vehicle's dyno numbers.
