Racer and business owner, Billy Laskowsky, plans on returning to NMRA Super Street Outlaw class competition in the 2010 season! Taking off for 2009 was critical to the launch of his new business, LAS Performance. Located in the borough of Phoenixville , PA - the home of "The Blob", which starred actor/race-car driver Steve McQueen - LAS Performance accommodates car owners’ needs ranging from paint jobs, to parts fabrication, to performing Pennsylvania State Inspections.

With the newly acquired help of engine builder Andy Jensen of Jensen Engine Tech, Laskowsky has built two new engines for 2010. These engines will be force-fed by
ProCharger F3 power. Also, helping to get the
BigStuff3 engine management system up to speed is tuner Frank Soldridge. Laskowsky has been testing and fabricating many new parts for the Super Street Outlaw car, and had hopes of attending the recent NMRA World Finals in Kentucky, but the calendar got the best of him. However, Laskowsky does have plans on attending Dave Hance’s Shakedown at E-Town race coming up in just a few short weeks. We hear he’ll be running into NMRA Super Street Outlaw record-holder John Kolivas’ hotrod with Joel Greathouse behind the wheel.
Formerly the NMRA’s Edelbrock Hot Street champion, Billy Laskowsky is a big supporter and sponsor of the new NMRA Pure Street champion, Ryan Hecox. Working together, they have accomplished a mutual goal for 2009, and will continue to the next season with even higher hopes. His many years in the industry have earned him respect, from his debut at the Motorsport Nationals at Maple Grove in 2000 through to his 2001 championship. Now an entrepreneur with sights set on victory for his 2003 Mustang Cobra in NMRA’s Super Street Outlaw class, we are sure to see more determination than ever from Billy Laskowsky in the up coming season!
