Autoworks's Radical Dynacorn Mustang on Chop, Cut, Rebuild
Autoworks International, the maker of the famous Obsidian SG1 Mustang, has been making some serious waves in 2008 as they've expanded their business operations to include really incredible projects! These guys can truly build and design just about any Ford or Mustang into anything you want, from a basic bolt-on cruiser to a full wild race car.

The team is lead by Matt Couper and his right-hand man Richard Dolan, and we recently got a press release from Autoworks announcing their first televised build entitled The Mustang Mystique which is airing this weekend on the Speed Channel on the popular show Chop Cut Rebuild. The car being featured is the Autoworks Phantom DSC II, which is a build up of a Dynacorn classic Mustang body, similar to the vehicle our sister website profiled built by Classic Design Concepts.

"Jim C. of Dynacorn Classic Bodies hand picked Autoworks International to build one of the first Mustangs using the brand new '67 fastback body shells," explained Autoworks. The one hour special premiered July 5th at 6:00PM on Speed, and will be re-played on July 12th and July 19th. Check your local listings for show times, or go to Speed TV online. You can also check out the show info here for Mustang Mystique.

In addition to the exciting announcement about the show, Autoworks has been working hard on their brand new web site located at www.Autoworksparts.com , packed with large product photos, installs, and Autoworks videos, which will be continuously updated as we film our shop installs for you. Autoworks is a partner with us here at powerTV, and uses our video player to power their AutoworksTV web video player.

If you have a video of your Mustang that you would like to share with the Autoworks community, you can now upload it directly to the new Autoworks TV site and show it to your fellow Mustang enthusiasts. By becoming a member of Autoworks TV, you may be eligible to receive discounts on top name brand parts for your build...

You really should check out the Autoworks Racing website to view some of their recent project builds. We especially dug the Super Coupe R which Autoworks calls, "The World's First '67 Mustang with a
Paddle Shift Manual Transmission. Check out a few photos below. Really trick. It comes with the latest technology from Mastershift, which make the before-mentioned paddle shifter which works with an automatic trans.

Better yet, if you want the crew at Autoworks to screw together a ride for you, check them out at www.Autoworksracing.com or call 619-401-6900.
