I've got an AODE trans out of a 94 5.0 gt is it good for any other uses other than a 94 5.0 motor.

I've had it for years it only has 19000 miles on it would like to use it for something.

Sure, the AOD-E can be used behind any push rod engine, with a trans controller which are commonly available.

What are you trying to do?

AOD-E can be a killer trans, easy 9-seconds if built properly.

Thanks guys I've got a 351W and was wondering if I could use the AODE.I've also got a Smallblock c6 it came off of a 351 cleveland.I don't know what all it will work on for sure.

What's the vehicle combination.. what are you trying to do? Street car, race car, etc?

Lentech and FB are supposed to make bulletproof AODs. PA also makes a good one.
