In a quest that I am usually in to find cool cars for sale I did not have to look to far. It appeared on the popular Yellow Bullet as another drag radial racer brought it out in the open. It appears as if the Corupt Motorsports car of Alex Vrettos is for sale. It is one of those things that I would never wish for as it is one of my all time favorites. The Corupt guys are also a great bunch to hang with at the track.

Alex’s 1995 Mustang has quite a bit of history with it as it started out racing NOPI and
NMRA races way back in the day. In the past two years Alex worked very hard on the conversion to the outlaw drag radial side of things, which started out with a small block Ford and twin turbos. That combination eventually led him to being the quickest drag radial car in the country with a 7.37. The time was eventually knocked down, but it was the fact that it had been two years prior since David Wolfe and Big Daddy had been in the 7.40’s. No one had even come close.
The Mustang has undergone a major reconstruction even in the past few months between its time at
Big Daddy Performance and
DMC Racing. It has a state of the art 25.2 chassis with the best safety equipment that money can buy. Now it’s running with a 540 cubic inch Chevrolet that came out of Joe Newsham’s Mustang. It is the same engine that won the
ORSCA championship in 2008. Alex has been as fast as 7.09 and over 211mph. This is true six second car in the waiting. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of history.
