You hit the nail right, square, on the head. My wife says to "hold my horses," and see if it's something related to what the mechanic just fixed (timing cover leak), and just go from there. Now, I have to wait it out until at least July 3rd before I can bring the car back. He had to repair a small oil pan leak he caused after bolting everything back up after accessing the timing cover and replacing the gasket. I'm trying to be patient, but this car just has me so infuriated, it's unreal.

Now, I don't know what to do about that Mustang I want. While part of me says to wait for the 400 hp 5.0L that's supposed to debut, part of me tellls me to go with the 4.6L, because it's proven to be a reliable engine.

With a blower, the 4.6L will make good power. Why wait.
