| Our Meziere electrical pump was worth it. Our 666 project car has a stock 5.0 in it, but I am glad that we upgraded the cooling. I'm not a big fan of the Stock Ford Cooling system, especially if you plan on road racing! I've always felt that the cooling system needed to keep the motor as cool as it could. Yeah, I know that the oil needs to be a certain temp for peak efficiency but the cooler you can keep the cylinders and top end, the better and longer the motor will run.
For my money, upgrading cooling is higher on the priority list. The other engine performance upgrades will catch up to your cooling upgrade soon enough.
