Round 3 Notes
Drag Radial
Bob Kurgan took out Phil Clemmons with a 8.15 at 172 mph, Tuten got a single, and John Kolivas went 8.07 at 178 mph to defeat Kevin Fiscus who spun the tires with a 1.66 60-foot.

Renegade
Brian Mitchell just lost to Chris Van Gilder, as Mitchell's car was all over the place. He will meet David Guy in the finals who took out Randy King.

Hot Street
In the first official Kuntz. vs. Roush battle, Booze took out Blankenship in a squeaker, with a 8.708 to 8.721. Booze will meet Ben Mens, 2007 champion, in the finals.

Pure Street
Brandon Alsept broke and was unable to make the call, so the win went to Victor Downs who ran a 10.38. This was a major upset for the team. Since Teddy Weaver has a competition bye, it will be Downs and Weaver in the finals.

Real Street
During the semi-final race, Mike Washington would be off the pace. Breeze took the win with a lifting 9.91 to Washington's 10.495. Tim Matherly went a very impressive 9.64 to advance against his team mate beating Brian McCormick.

Pro Outlaw 10.5W
Mike Murillo (as mentioned) broke his transmission, giving the single win to Conrad Scary. Another great race was Dan Millen and Brian Carpenter. Millen went 7.19 to defeat Brian Carpenter who ran a 7.29 at nuts 215.31 mph! It will be Millen and Scary in the finals.

Here's Millen taking out Carpenter.

Super Street Outlaw
A.J. Powell's car was off at the start, giving Richard Lelsz his first ever SSO final round match up!

Check out this shot of Lelsz pullin away from AJ.

Hohn Urist, hard work and all, is going to the finals with his new ride. Halfacre was in it until half track when his transmission (or engine) went away. You can see in the shot below that they were very close at half track, that is - until Halfacre's death smoke ended the match.

Factory Stock
It would be John Leslie's first final round as he had a bye! Gifford barely nicked Tommy Godfrey in a heads-up battle with a 12.27 at 120.9 to 11.27 at 118.65.

Round 4 - Drag Radial
It would be Kolivas and Tuten to meet up in the semi's, and Kolivas's machine was screaming into the beams. Tuten got out of shape and spun and had to lift. That gave K the win with a 8.09 at 178 mph. Kurgan would have a competitive single and just broke the beams.
