Anything that old other than yourself you can't expect these old stangs and its electrical to stand the test of time no more. I've seen my old LX not to long ago and if you breathe on anything, it could go up in dust!!
Keep working on that old stang but be careful, it could bite you only because some things just do want to be touched after being in the same place for a long time.....like you!!
