Installing a Roll Stop. Getting ready for the track.
Today was prep day for a test and tune session at the drag strip tomorrow. Part of getting ready for the track is installing a roll stop so we could do monster, he-man woman hater burnouts at the line. Everyone knows; nothing is cooler than a tire shredding burnout.

You are familiar with our Project 666 '86 Mustang four-eyed Coupe as seen here. It's being prepped for a 666 rear wheel horsepower engine and already features a Moser Rear End and upgraded drag suspension.

We installed a TCI Roll Control in 666 in order to make burnouts simpler. It's a nice line-lock, especially looks good and includes all of the hardware we needed. It even comes with a handy dandy "quick draw" button!

Tom did the installation, and....(shudder)......the wiring, so there was some doubt if the roll stop would function correctly or if the wiring would short and burn the car to the ground. During the test flight, it was determined that the roll stop worked as advertised. What that tells me is that: TCI makes one heck of a product if Tom can install it.........and it worked.

Here's some photo's of Tommy Boy's work:

Really sweet roll stop activation button.

Roll stop solenoid mounted to the strut tower, complete with Tom's super duper wiring.

From another angle.

Cross your fingers, say your prayers. Tom's driving the car at the track tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
