5 speed to c4 swap help?
Can you guys help me with my C4 swap. I have a 2000 GT that I'm pulling the stock 5 speed and putting in a built c4. Is there anything special you have found that I will need to do? I know I need the trans with deep pan, bell housing, flexplate, flexplate bolts, dipstick, trans shield, cooler, and converter. What do I do about the crossmember mount? Will my stock T45 mount work? Thanks for the help.

You will need to modify the cross-member. Do you have the trans mount already?

No. I have a Universal ford trans mount on the way. What do I have to do to modify the cross-member?

I have not done the swap, however I found someone who did some modifying regarding the subject.
The crossmember and mount will work but will not line up with the c4 but it is an easy fix. on the crosmember there are spot welds on the tubes where the bushings are. You can cut the welds very easy with a cut off wheel and tap (pound) the crossmember forward to line it up where you need to be, then re-spot weld it. Not sure how many out there would be comfortable with this method but it's been done.
