My gut reaction is the same as yours. More volume will probably be a better and more efficient long term fix. I would suspect higher pump failure rate and perhaps other inconsistencies from the voltage increase and demand.
In all fairness, I have not done any research on this particular item, but I will try and look into it for you. |
