| modifications I understand that direct injection would allow smaller engines to use the turbochargers more efficiently but how would this setup compare to the HCCI setups that are in the works by certain manufactures like mbenz and independent people like MIT. Would this be something that would be freindly to modifications like upgraded intake and exhuast systems to increase power? Or would the system be limited by the integration of shift points by the ecu would most likely would be lockd by the man. resulting in having to use piggy back systems. Dont get me wrong but 290-350hp is great but there are people out there that would want more or is everyone giving in to the hp wars being over theory? |
