I have a special place for them too. I'll never forget when my dad traded in our 80 Impala (only Chevy he owned) on a brand new silver 85GT. We picked the car up together and he smoked the tires out of the dealership. I was hooked after that

The plans are first to get it roadworthy again. It sat for a year, so I'm going through the coolant system with all new stuff and fixing the brakes. After that, I'm putting on Eibach springs, KYBs, and full poly kit underneath. Next is rebuilding the rear with 3:73s or 4:10s, aluminum driveshaft and new exhaust.
I'm keeping it pretty stock with minor performance upgrades, just as a weekend cruiser. I'll make it pretty next year.
