The shiznit is hitting the fan over the performance of Kolivas and his 5.4L Modular turbo combination and really even the 88 mm turbo overall.

A strongly worded post by ProCharger's Dave W. was recently found on the NMRA Message Forum outlining his concerns over the class direction.

There are some wild accusations flying around about custom superchargers as there always are. Are any of the racers truly running one-off superchargers?

It's not a secret that racers have been thrown out on several occasions for running superchargers that didn't match the specs.

Does it even matter with the turbo domination?

This is what we think.

Is the 88mm/5.4L combo the best out there? Yes, by far.. but who cares, Kolivas is the guy who went out there and built the engine.. everyone else is who is upset is crying over spilt milk. They had the same rulebook as he did.

The milk ain't going back into the bottle for 3 races.
