By now, nobody reading this needs schooling on the advantages of polyurethane over rubber in suspension bushing applications. Greater suspension precision, improved response, better lifespan – all these things are a given. But when it comes down to choosing who to look to for those bouncy little biscuits, you might not be as well-educated as you might think.

The Blue Oval faithful haven’t been forgotten – Yoken tells us that the Whiteline transmission mount insert (the yellow urethane part) has been a runaway hit for S197 owners.

At SEMA this year, our friend North American Sales Manager Reid Yoken gave us a little tour of the goods at Whiteline. “The Whiteline Essential Kits for the Pontiac G8/Chevy SS and the 5th Gen Camaro are really just that,” he explains. “We didn’t throw the entire catalog at those cars – the kits are put together so that you get the biggest improvement for the money.”

Whiteline has also tackled the problem of gooey bushing lube attracting dirt with their “grease free technology” bushings that feature inner surfaces embedded with low-friction PTFE.
