Each and every season, countless numbers of racers in the sport of drag racing carry the ProCharger name to the winner’s circle, to national records, and to championship titles in a number of racing series and classes. And knowing that its the customer that truly makes it all possible, the folks at ProCharger make it a point to not only recognize their customers’ efforts during the race season, but to honor those champions, their crews, and their families utilizing ProCharger’s renowned supercharger units in the off season.
Over the last 13 seasons, ProCharger has powered nearly 100 customers in a multitude of racing organizations and venues, and this season, they added another seven championships spanning five different series. Among those champions is Steve Jackson, who took his F-3R-139-powered Mustang to the Ultimate Outlaws Drag Radial title, NMCA and NMRA X275 champion Jason Lee, 7-time NMRA Super Street Outlaw champion John Urist, PSCA Wild Street champ Kevin Young and his F-2-powered third-gen Camaro, HOT ROD Drag Week Big Block Power Adder champ Scott Smith, and Rich Bruder, who dominated X275 at the Yellow Bullet Nationals, the Shakedown at E’Town, and elsewhere this season.
No doubt we’ll see more dominating performances from these and other ProCharger-equipped racers in 2012, and with the recent release of their RaceDrive gear drive unit, the performance of these centrifugally supercharged machines is only going to reach newer heights.
