Last weekend Mustangs and show cars bombarded the former Johnsville Naval Air Station in Warminster, Pennsylvania by displaying their high performance engines, endless modifications, and glimmering paint schemes for one of the area’s largest annual car events held by the Warminster Police Benevolent Association (WPBA). This massive venue, a Navy runway once accommodating the P-51 Mustang fighter plane, now serves as part of the Warminster Community Park accommodating Ford Mustangs and other vehicles on this day, with more than enough ample space to show off their muscle on its historical asphalt.
Over 350 vehicles and Mustangs were in attendance at this year’s WPBA show covering the runway from end to end. Not only did the vehicles bombard the runway, the attendees provided generous contributions to benefit local organizations including the Warminster Township Police Department, Warminster Athletic Association, Christ Home for Kids, Bucks County Food Pantry, and BARC Development Services.
“I love the fact that I can help my organization and community”, says Nick Deletto, the event coordinator and an active member of the WPBA, With over one hundred and fifty awards given and some of the finest show vehicles from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware on display, it is hard to leave our show without feeling like a winner.” For more information on this show, contact the event’s coordinator Nick Deletto at www.wpbacarshow.weebly.com to plan for the next event.
