The fourth stop of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series at New Jersey Motorsports Park the weekend of May 12 was another stunner. Not because #35 Subaru of America Racing Team followed up their second consecutive pole position with a win.
This weekend was the first ever B-Spec racing series under the Pirelli World Challenge banner. Of the three races, Craig Capaldi of Capaldi Racing was about to place on the podium in three of them, including a 1st-place finish, in his B-Spec Fiesta.
After early-race shenanigans knocked several cars out of contention at the last race, teams of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series rolled into Homestead Miami Speedway on Wednesday, April 25th 2012 ready to put on a great race for their South Florida fans.
This weekend Justin Bell, driving the No. 50 eBay Motors Boss 302S Mustang, looked to take his third victory in as many races in the SCCA World Challenge series. Alas, he had to settle for second place…but in a way, that was good enough.
