We’ve got another video segment up in the New Take Off V6 Mustang build, which is the Wheel, Tire, and Brake Upgrade. All of the goodies come from New Take Off – which gave us a set of 17-inch and 18-inch take off wheels and tires, and we also installed the GT brake upgrade along with a set of Power Slot rotors.

The guys over at Bassani decided that our stock exhaust needed an upgrade on our Project New Take Off V6, so they installed a Bassani X-pipe and true Dual Exhaust with Bassani’s 2.5-inch Street Race Mufflers.

It is nearing the time that we say goodbye to the project New Take Off V6 Mustang. This V6 was no exception to be taken to the track. After three passes down the quarter mile, the six-banger ran about the equivalent of a high 13-second run at 100-101 mph after lots of spin from the stock tires. The car ran great. and no one knew it was a V6.
