Building a 10-second 2011 Mustang GT got a lot easier with the 5.0-liter engine and American Muscle proved that recently.

The well-known Mustang parts supplier took their automatic 2011 Mustang GT to the track with the addition of a Ford Racing Boss Intake Manifold and 150 shot of Nitrous. How about 10.43 @ 130?

At least eight Mustangs are on the entry list for this weekend’s SCCA World Challenge race through the streets of St. Petersburg, FL. Now called the Pirelli World Challenge Championships, the 2011 series starts with a double header event, beginning an eight-stop series which concludes at Road Atlanta in late fall.

Ford’s U.S. Design studio, that was solely responsible for Mustang design, will have to entertain input from other Ford styling centers around the world for the next redesign. Ford adopted the global design approach three years ago and it appears that the Mustang will not be exempted from the process.
